The special council meeting regarding the police department was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Duane Maguire.
Motion Humpert second Hall to accept the agenda as printed. Carried.
The president directed Trustee Wassa to read to the public excerpts of the Council Rules of Procedure dealing with audience recognition and public disturbance.
Audience comments on the termination of the police chief were received.
Motion Wassa second Leen to support and confirm the termination of Police Chief James Sherrod by President Maguire on December 9, 2010. Carried.
Motion Wassa second Leen to adjourn the special meeting at 7:08 p.m. Carried.
