The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Maguire.
Motion Prusi second Eurich to accept the December 17, 2007 regular meeting minutes as printed. Carried.
Audience member Lynn Cramer questioned the curbside refuse at 5053 Center and whether it would be removed. The clerk informed him that Waste Management stated it would be removed within 5 business days.
Enter Adams 7:36 p.m.
The fire report showed that there was 1 run and 1 assist for December.
Motion Adams second Prusi to renew the fire protection contracts for Fairgrove, Gilford and Juniata Townships at the same rate as the previous contract, which was $600 per section, with the new contract dated April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2010. Carried.
Correspondence was received from Gilford Township Supervisor Jim Stockmeyer regarding fire department water usage from the new water line project with Bay County. A copy of this letter was forwarded to Fire Chief Young.
Motion Prusi second Farnum to pay bills of approximately $20,307.86. Carried.
