Guests: Police Chief James Sherrod, Steve Young, Fern Young, Gayle Sleight, Donnie Englehart
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Trustee Kay Eurich.
Motion Adams second Ahrens to accept the October 5, 2009 regular meeting minutes with the following correction: Motion Hall second Ahrens to hire David Kline as a temporary part-time police officer at $10.00 per hour, should read – Motion Hall second Ahrens to hire David Kline as a temporary part-time police officer, if necessary, at $10.00 per hour. Carried.
Michigan Bean Festival President Gayle Sleight obtained permission to use the municipal building meeting room for their meetings during the winter months. She also stated that they will hold a meeting on November 8th to receive public input on possibly changing the weekend the bean festival is held.
Correspondence was received from FEMA Region V requesting input on their preliminary flood insurance study and rate map.
Motion Adams second Hall to pay bills of approximately $16,100.93. Carried.
