The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Maguire.

Motion Prusi second Wassa to accept the November 19, 2007 regular meeting minutes as printed.    Carried.
 
Fire Chief Young reported that the department had 1 run and 2 assists for November. 
 
Police Chief Wassa presented the department’s 3rd quarter report.
 
Correspondence was received from Tuscola County Road Commission informing of two December meetings and presenting a list of scheduled projects through 2012, Tuscola County Planning Commission presenting the village’s share of East Central Michigan Planning dues and Tuscola County Emergency Management informing of the 2008 Repetitive Flood Claims Program grant deadline.
 
The clerk received final notification from Tuscola County Circuit Court in which the village was awarded the Order for Entry and Demolition at 2017 Main Street for which demolition costs, fees and attorney fees will be assessed to property owner Stephen J. Donohoe’s property tax billing.
 
Motion Adams second Wassa to accept the demolition bid for 2017 Main Street from Hecht Excavating, LLC for $14,149.33.    Carried.
 
The clerk presented a request from Steve Donohoe to wait until after December 25, 2007 to demolish his building as he still had personal property inside the building to remove. The council did not act on his request.
 
Motion Wassa second Eurich to accept the 2008 council meeting dates.    Carried.
 
Motion Prusi second Eurich to pay bills of approximately $10,034.70.    Carried.
