RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAME OF OTIS STREET TO LIBERTY STREET.

 

 

 

At a Village of Fairgrove Council Meeting held on June 5, 2017 at 5005 W. Center St. Fairgrove, MI, the following resolution was offered by Brad Phelps and supported by Troy McIntosh.

 

 

WHEREAS the north/south street located between M-138 and Armstrong Street, plotted as Otis Street, is commonly referred to as Liberty Street and;

 

WHEREAS the street extension as it continues north is plotted and signed as Liberty Street and;

 

WHEREAS the Village Council seeks to provide clarity and continuity throughout the village records.

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the north/south platted road located in the Village of Fairgrove (36), Section 20 connecting Armstrong Street and M-138 be hereby known as Liberty Street.

FOR CHARITABLE GAMING LICENSES

 

At a Regular meeting of the Village of Fairgrove Council called to order by President Thomas Wassa  on  October 2, 2017 at 6:30 P.M. the following resolution was offered:

 

Moved by Tina Wassa and supported by Brad Phelps that the request from the Fairgrove Fire Fighters of Fairgrove, county of Tuscola, asking that they be recognized as a nonprofit organization operating in the community for the purpose of obtaining charitable gaming licenses, be consider for APPROVAL.
