TUSCOLA COUNTY, MICHIGAN
ORDINANCE NO. 59
TRUCK PARKING
An ordinance to limit the parking of trucks with a gross vehicle weight over ten thousand pounds to certain areas within the Village and to prohibit such parking elsewhere in the Village.
THE VILLAGE OF FAIRGROVE ORDAINS:
Section 1. Semi-trucks, semi-truck trailers and any other trucks with a GVW (gross
vehicle weight) over 10,000# shall only be allowed to be parked on private property
zoned C-1 or C-2 and which is located adjacent to Shreeves Road, Main or Center Streets.
Section 2. Semi-trucks, semi-truck trailers and any other trucks with a GVW over 10,000# are prohibited from being parked on any street, alley, or private property within the Village of Fairgrove other than the private property specifically designated in Section 1 above.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates the provisions of this Ordinance is responsible for a municipal civil infraction, subject to payment of a civil fine as provided for in Civil Infraction Ordinance No. 49., plus costs and other orders and sanctions which may be imposed by the court, for each infraction. Repeat offenses under this Ordinance shall be subject to increased fines as provided for in Civil Infraction Ordinance No. 49.
The undersigned President and Clerk of the Village of Fairgrove hereby certifies that this Ordinance was duly adopted by the Fairgrove Village Council at a meeting held on the 5th day of October, 2009 and a synopsis thereof was published in the Tuscola County Advertiser on the 10th day of October, 2009. This Ordinance shall take effect twenty (20) days after said date of adoption, which is October 25, 2009.

TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER #09-01
The undersigned Chief of Police for the Village of Fairgrove hereby certifies that he has approved a Traffic Control Order #09-01 to enforce the provisions of the above Ordinance as to truck parking.
