VILLAGE OF FAIRGROVE
TUSCOLA COUNTY, MICHIGAN
ORDINANCE NO. 6
FIRE DEPARTMENT MUTUAL AID
THE VILLAGE OF FAIRGROVE ORDAINS:
That the Fire Department of the Village of Fairgrove be authorized and directed to answer fire calls in other municipalities in Tuscola County without charge to the other municipality if each of the following conditions are met:
1. The request is placed by the Fire Chief of the other city.
2. The Fire Department of the other municipality is a member of the Tuscola County Firemens Association.
3. Conditions within the village make it safe to remove one of the fire trucks outside the Village of Fairgrove.
4. The governing body of the other municipality has enacted a similar resolution toward the Village of Fairgrove.
….and be it further ordained that it shall be the obligation of the Village of Fairgrove to pay the firemen of the Fairgrove Fire Department who answer calls pursuant to this ordinance.
