ORDINANCE NO. 33
LOITERING
An ordinance prohibiting loitering on any street or other public place.
THE VILLAGE OF FAIRGROVE ORDAINS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to loiter on any street, sidewalk, overpass or public place. For the purpose of this Ordinance, “Loitering” is defined as the act of standing or idling in or about any street, sidewalk, overpass or public place within the Village of Fairgrove, so as to hinder or impede or tend to hinder or impede the passage of pedestrians or vehicles.
Section 2. Any person violating the provisions thereof shall upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than $50.00 nor more than $100.00 together with costs of prosecution, or by imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than 90 days, or by both, in the discretion of the Court.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective after publication and expiration of the time prescribed by law.
