VILLAGE OF FAIRGROVE
TUSCOLA COUNTY, MICHIGAN
ORDINANCE NO. 2
BUSINESS DISTRICT FIRE ZONE
THE VILLAGE OF FAIRGROVE ORDAINS:
That the Village Council designate the Business District of the Village of Fairgrove, create a fire zone for that district and building restrictions for property to be erected in or moved into the fire zone as follows:
The fire zone for the Business District shall start at the intersection of Maple and Main Streets on the north of the Village and run south along both sides of Main Street to the intersection of Main and Center Streets at the south of the Village, and also from the intersection of Main and Center Streets, west along both sides of Center Street to the intersection of Liberty and Center Streets on the west of the Village.
The building restrictions for the fire zone shall be as follows:
All new building built for business purposes in the fire zone, and all buildings moved into the fire zone for business purposes shall be constructed as follows:
Exterior walls of cement blocks, brick, tile or stone, and the roofs
of a fire-resisting material approved by the Village Council.
All buildings hereafter built for residential purposes in the fire zone, or moved into the fire zone must have the approval of the Village Council before they are built or moved.
