The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Duane Maguire.
Motion Ahrens second Farnum to accept the March 1, 2010 regular meeting minutes as printed. Carried.
Audience member Samantha Mason complained about a citation she was given by the police chief. April Yatsevich, Mason’s mother, complained about the same citation and the follow up by the police chief.
Fire Chief Young presented information and cost on an infrared camera. He also stated that engine #1 was repaired.
Correspondence was received from Wendy Streeter submitting her resignation for village employment.
Motion Adams second Ahrens to accept the resignation of Village Treasurer Wendy Streeter effective March 31, 2010. Carried.
MotionAdams second Ahrens to re-appoint Beverly J. Parsell as Village Clerk for a two year time period of April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2012. Carried.
MotionHall second Maguire to send a letter to Village Trustee Wally Prusi asking for his resignation. Roll Call Vote Adams-Nay, Ahrens-Nay, Eurich-Nay, Farnum-Nay, Hall-Yea, Maguire-Yea 2 Yea 4 Nay Defeated.
MotionAhrens second Hall to have curbside brush pickup the first Monday of May and have the dump open the fourth Saturday of the months April through October with residents obtaining a dump permit from the village clerk. Carried.
Motion Eurich second Farnum to allow the fire department to purchase an infrared camera from Time Emergency Equipment for approximately $5100. Carried.
Motion Hall second Farnum to defer revenue of $5,340 in fire response billings collected during 2009-10 for fire department major equipment purchases making the fire department capital cash reserve account total $39,776.66. Carried.
Motion Hall second Hoag to defer revenue of $3854 for future police vehicle replacement which consists of monies collected during 2009-10 for ordinance violations of $3180 and amount equivalent to liquor license fees of $674 making the police department capital cash reserve account total $5276. Carried.
MotionEurich second Adams to amend the 2009-10 budget as follows:
General Fund $ 35,900
Equipment Fund 9,400
. Total Increase $ 45,300 Carried.
Motion Adams second Ahrens to pay bills of approximately $14,650.18. Carried.
