ORDINANCE NO. 30
SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
An ordinance to authorize the Sale of Certain Village Owned Real Property.
THE VILLAGE OF FAIRGROVE ORDAINS:
Sec. 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 7, Section 4, of 1895 Public Acts III as amended by 1974 Public Act 67 (MCLA Section 67.4), The Common Council of the Village of Fairgrove determines to make private sale of the building hereinafter described on the terms and conditions herein set forth to James Frank Crosby, hereinafter called Purchaser.
Sec. 2. Because of the benefits to be derived by the Village o Fairgrove from having a certain building commonly referred to as “Masonic Lodge Building” removed from the herein described property, to-wit:
Lot 2, Block 2 Johnsons Addition to the Village of Fairgrove as recorded in Liber 1 of Plats, page 27-A, Tuscola County7 Records, Village of Fairgrove, Tuscola County, Michigan.
The Village President and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Bill of Sale which provides for consideration from said James Frank Crosby of One Dollar, provided, however, that the conveyance of said Masonic Lodge Building on the hereinbefore described property shall be removed from said Lot 2 within a reasonable period of time and provided further that said James Frank Crosby shall obtain and deliver to the Village president a Police of Insurance in an amount and form satisfactory to said Village President which holds the Village of Fairgrove harmless from any and all liability of every kind and description which may result from the removal of said Masonic Lodge Building from said Lot 2.
Sec. 3. This Ordinance shall be immediately effective upon publication according to law.
Adopted by the Common Council on the 5th day of July 1979.
