Planning Commission Meeting

April 11, 2017 – 6:30pm

Committee Members Present:   Carl Childs, Fern Young, Tom Wassa, Gwen Jeffers

Carl Childs called the meeting to order.  Childs read the October 17, 2016 minutes.  Corrected minutes for the upcoming meetings from 6:00pm to 6:30pm.   Wassa motion, seconded by Young to accept the October 17, 2016 minutes, with the time correction.  Motion carried.

Childs requested that the updated Land Use Plan be printed and provided to the Committee.   Wassa said he would have that done for the next meeting.

Childs requested a follow-up on the Medical Marijuana Zoning Ordinance for the Planning Commission meeting.  Young indicated that the Planning Commission provided the council with a model ordinance.  Wassa said he would do the research as to the status of Medical Marijuana ordinance.

Jeffers voiced concerns over the down town district.  Grants and other options will be looked at in the future.

Wassa gave an update on the storm drain plans for McLuney Street.

Motion by Wassa, seconded by Young, to adjourn.  Motion carried.
